Our sail training trip to Mykonos was a total success. On the first leg from Kalamaki to Mykonos our multinational crew encountered conditions from 10-20 knots of wind all night long.
The wind direction was also changing. This by itself meens that constant triming was needed and course corrections almost every 1-2 hours. In the morning conditions
deterioreted with winds of up to 38 knots confirming the notorius gale force winds off the cost of Mykonos.
Finaly the new marina was inviting and secure.
A coffe and a few drinks for lunch was all we needed to recover.
In the evening following the tradition of Mykonos we drink and dance untill dawn.
The return trip was an easy one. Quarter reaching to Siros in 10-15 knots of wind and under motor from Siros to Kalamaki in windless conditions.
