Αγωνας Υδρας 2012

After grate effort and literally the last minute we manage to prepare Arwen ,our Elan 340, for the Ydra yacht race.
We thank everyone who worked with us to achieve that.
Arwen will be sponsored by the well known bar-restaurant in Kolonaki the  " big apple ".
We regret the fact that we couldn’t have all of Arwen's friends with us on this race but we promise to give all our friends allot of sailing opportunities this season, so stay tuned.

New upgrades for 2012

Lancelot M.C.P.Y. the shipping company proudly reveals the new upgrades for Arwen, our beloved Elan 340, that aim to make her even faster.

1. New asymmetric spinnaker on a removable bowsprit with a snuffer, ''sock", so that hoisting or dousing is a single handed operation at all times, with all gear for trimming and control it.

2. 2:1 ratio purchase for the Genoa cars for easy Genoa trimming

3. 5:1 ratio cunningham  for better control of the luff

Arwen is out for her yearly maintenance

Arwen, our Elan 340, was taken out of the water for her yearly maintenance. Her underwater sections were clear of any signs of damage or stress so 'a friendly rub' and a new antifouling paint is all she needs for next season.
As for her new upgrades, the list is getting longer so stay tuned!
Arwen will be faster next season......
